COSPLAY
What is cosplay?
The term cosplay represents a contraction of the English words costume play. Basically, it means dressing up
as your favorite character for fun.
Do you make your cosplay costumes all by yourself?
Yes I do.
Can I book you for an event/promotion/convention?
Sure! Just drop me an email and we'll work something out
Do you accept costume commissions?
Yes! Drop me an email on what costume you have in mind and I'll get back to you
How long time does it take for you to make a costume?
Usually a couple of months, it really depends on how complicated the costume is and how much free
time I have.
I want to cosplay as *******, can you give me any tips on how to make the cosplay costume?
I get this a lot and unfortunately I don't have time to answer all, so I will give these general tips instead:
If you're new to cosplay. Try to start with a simple character. Buy a sewing pattern that best resembles the
cloths that you need for the costume and add any design changes to that. When you're starting to get
the hang on the pattern making the result will be much better when you want to make more complex
costumes. If you're getting stuck on for example what materials to use, look up what other cosplayers used for
that costume to see how the materials look IRL, or just to get inspiration
After that, it's just learning through trial and error. Good luck!
If you have any specific questions regarding cosplay I would recommend that you ask at the cosplay.com
forum which also is a great source for good tutorials/guides.
